We were lucky enough to come across this beautiful 30 year old sharpener to use during the development of our new pieces. Our favorite part is the handle made of horn.
MCMANUS LIFE
In the process of creating our new bags, there is perhaps no tool more important than this knife. The tools used are just as important as what the tools can create.
MCMANUS LIFE
In our Los Angeles studio, we’ve become fully immersed in design for the new collection. These days are packed with sketching, cutting, folding and sewing to get things right where we want them. From concept to creation.

TRANSMISSION LA: AV CLUB
An incredible piece done by Ben Jones, using projections to take people into a cartoon-like reality. Each wall, including the floors is animated to make the viewer feel as though traveling down a road and looking into the face of a rising and setting sun. The children in this photo truly captured the essence that most people felt in this room, part of us wanting to simply sit and enjoy the artistic efforts, the other part of us feeling completely whisked away into a parallel universe. Our kudos to Ben Jones for his great work.
About the artist: Ben Jones (Pittsburgh, 1977) lives and works in Providence, Rhode Island. He holds a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art. Selected exhibitions and screenings include: Foxy Productions, New York (solo); Andreas Melas Presents, Athens (solo); Deitch Projects, New York; Peres Projects, Berlin; Pace Wildenstein, New York; CANADA, New York; Green on Red Gallery, Dublin; The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York; Tate Britain, London; Musee d’ Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris/ARC, Paris; Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco; The Liverpool Biennial, Liverpool.
